In our interior design studio, we always seek to be at the forefront of trends. For this reason, we went to Hábitat Valencia 2024, one of the most influential fairs in the sector, to analyze the proposals that will mark interior design in the next season. Below, we share a summary of the main trends we observed and how we plan to integrate them into our projects.
1. Sustainability and ecological materials: the future of design
One of the most prominent topics at Hábitat Valencia is sustainability.
Manufacturers are betting on ecological materials such as certified wood, cork, preserved plants and recycled textiles, in addition to production processes that reduce environmental impact. The trend is not limited to aesthetics; Now the aim is for furniture to be durable and respectful of the environment.
This vision fits perfectly with the values of our studio, where we have always promoted the use of responsible and natural materials. Our goal is to create spaces that are not only attractive, but also sustainable in the long term.
2. Designer outdoor furniture at Hábitat Valencia
Outdoor furniture has become very important, and at the fair we see proposals that blur the line between indoor and outdoor spaces. Furniture made with resistant materials such as aluminum, teak or synthetic fibers, combined with advanced outdoor textiles, offer both aesthetics and functionality. We like the idea of incorporating these solutions into our projects, where outdoor spaces become an extension of indoor comfort, creating areas of relaxation and coexistence without giving up design.
3. The return to craftsmanship: the value of what is handmade
At the fair, artisanal and handmade pieces also stood out, a trend that seeks to revalue the work of artisans and authenticity in design. Unique furniture and decorative objects are gaining prominence over mass production, providing a personal and distinctive touch to each space.
If you follow our work, you will know that incorporating artisanal elements in our projects is very common. These elements add an emotional and authentic dimension, which connects our clients with a closer aesthetic and a sense of identity.
4. Neutral and natural colors: one of our favorite trends
Colors inspired by nature dominate many collections at Hábitat Valencia. Tones such as beige, terracotta, moss green and light gray bring serenity to spaces. This trend seeks to create calm, organic and harmonious environments, connecting inhabitants with their natural environment.
In our studio, these tones are an excellent basis for customizing each project, offering our clients the opportunity to enjoy balanced and welcoming interiors.
The visit to Habitat Valencia 2024 has allowed us to capture the main trends that will mark interior design in the next season. Sustainability, high-end outdoor furniture, neutral colors, technology and a return to craftsmanship are some of the keys that we will adopt in our projects. These trends not only redefine interior design, but also reinforce our commitment to responsible, functional and emotional design.
