El pasado miércoles 6 de marzo tuvo lugar la inauguración de MIAD, Madrid Inside Art & Design. La primera edición de este evento tiene lugar en la Plaza De Toros de Las Ventas, en Madrid. Estará disponible para visitar sus 30 espacios hasta el próximo domingo 17. Antonio Calzado Estudio presenta HAMMAM en esta primera edición de MIAD.
ANTONIO CALZADO'S SPACE IN MIAD, INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO IN SEVILLE
Interior designers and brands of great importance in Interior Design have participated in this edition. Among them, Antonio Calzado, our interior design studio in Seville that is committed to this event with a design of Andalusian and neo-Mudejar inspiration.
We present HAMMAM, a space where history and art merge in this design created to redefine disconnection and relaxation. Concepts such as crafts, ceramics and Cordoban paving are present in this space. Inspired by Andalusian monuments such as the Alhambra in Granada, the Giralda in Seville or the Mosque in Córdoba. Antonio Calzado integrates natural and artisanal materials, achieving this essence of HAMMAM.
“With HAMMAM we wanted to redesign the traditional Arab bath through design. We have thought about the main function with the HAMMAM central, that seems suspended in the air, where you can do treatments with salts, facial and body massages, aromatherapy, etc.”
A total of 14 brands collaborate in this own space. Modelec, ORAC, Global TV, AXOR, Hisbalit, Ecoclay, Nexia, Empecor, Baobab Collection, Forja Guadaíra, Demosaica, Eicholtz, Ceramoteca and Nexia.
